These two cottages are right next to each other (approx. 50-60 feet apart), but are also private from each other.

Cottage features 3 bedrooms: 2 with Queen beds and one with a Single bunk bed (sleeps 2). Please bring your bed sheets, pillowcases and towels. There's an indoor 3-piece bathroom with a shower - bath towels provided. Additionally there's a functional outhouse if you prefer to commune with nature on the commode. Full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, drinking water dispenser, plates, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Highchair and playpen available on request. Fully furnished and equipped with books, games, kids essentials etc. Features a dining table for 6, comfy reading chairs, a picnic table and muskoka chairs.

Enter the water at the end of the docks where it is deep enough to swim, and after a dozen strokes, you will be in wonderfully deep water for a truly great swimming experience. The lake bottom here is firm and sandy! The depth at the end of the dock is about 3-4 feet depending on the year.

There are 2 kayaks, 2 SUPs, a canoe, and a fishing rowboat available for your use. We also provide lifejackets (adult sizes). You can always rent life jackets from the office for $5 each for the week.

There are several families of ducks and mergansers who patrol the Lake as well as loons, beaver and otters. If you are watchful you might see deer or a moose on the neighbouring roadways.

AREA INFORMATION:
This cottage is about 35 minutes from the town of Bancroft and about the same distance from Barry's Bay. They both offer good variety of shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Plus you are only 15 minutes from the small hamlet of Maynooth and there is a good variety store there for your basic milk and bread needs. Maynooth also has some very nice antique, and unique art shops as well.
There are some good hiking trails and lookouts in the area, for those who love to get out for a walk in nature.
