There is also a Sofa bed in the lower rec-room for the 2 other people to sleep on.

Located on beautiful Baptiste Lake, this cottage property is highly-sought after since it has everything you need to enjoy a holiday on the lake. Large family cottage on a level lot with a sandy beach and shallow entry which is perfect for kids! This square timber cottage is gorgeous - with warm pine interiors, maple flooring and a great view of the lake.

The cottage is well supplied with most amenities you ever could want including dishwasher, washer/dryer, air conditioning and even Wi-Fi so you can stay connected and post all the week's adventures on social media. You will only need to bring your food, linens and towels with you. The living area is open concept with the kitchen and dining room and boasts lots of natural light. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor with the 4th bedroom located on the lower floor. The master features a 3-piece ensuite as well as a walk-out onto the deck. A sunroom offers a quiet place to read or enjoy the breeze.

Enjoy eating family meals on the large deck, with a BBQ for grilling that perfect steak. Gather around the lakeside firepit for an evening campfire. Please pick up firewood if you want to have a campfire...and marshmallows are reccomended!

WATERFRONT: The beach frontage, with a gentle walk-in is great for children. Shallow entry and will stay shallow for a bit. There is a great dock here for docking your boat. The water does get a little weedy out further.

Situated on the largest lake in the area with 36 miles of boating. This lake is great for touring, fishing, and tow sports. There is a marina on the lake where you can rent a boat or refuel yours.

AREA INFORMATION:
There is a good public launch on the way, as well as a marina nearby. This cottage is located about 25 minutes from Bancroft (known as the 'Mineral Capital of Canada'). We have 2 large grocery stores - No Frills, and Foodland. We also have a fairly new hospital with a good emergency section. Many fast food and family restaurants to choose from including McDonald's, Tim Hortons, Subway, Pizza Pizza, Vito's (Italian) and a few other good family restaurants in town. The town of Bancroft offers a variety of activities from shopping in the many unique art and gift stores, canoeing on the river, golf at the 18 hole course set below the beautiful Eagle's Nest (cliff) Park with hiking trails and a breaktaking lookout above the town.
