This very nicely landscaped property is simply outstanding with a view you will want to take home. At the cottage there is a well furnished deck with table and chairs for your outside dining, as well as several other loungers and a propane barbecue for the family executive chef. Down at ground level there is a good size flat area for lawn games, a children's swing set with teeter totter, swings and a slide and there is a quality fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts.

As you make your way down the heavy stone stairs and walkway to the shoreline, we know you will be mesmerized by the view of beautiful Paudash Lake. At the shore there is a shore deck which runs parallel to the shore as well as a large dock which is big enough for several people to sit and watch the action on the lake. Swimming is best off the dock which has a ladder and there is a small area with a gradual entry to the water at the end of the shore deck. There is also a canoe at the dock for your on water pleasure. If your family enjoys fishing, do not forget to pack your fishing gear as there are bass, trout, walleye and perch in Paudash Lake. If you need supplies, there is the Cardiff General Store within 15 minutes of the cottage and if you are looking for more substantial shopping the cottage is less than a 1/2 hour drive to Bancroft.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, electric mixer, rice cooker, crock pot, electric can opener, dishwasher and washer / dryer. Between the kitchen and the living room there is a dining area with seating for seven and there is a children's booster seat if needed.

As nice as this accommodation is outside, the inside is just as attractive and it all starts with a living room furnished with a leather sofa, love seat and chair. In addition there is an outstanding propane stone fireplace and large, flat screen HD television with DVD.

Nice hard sandy bottom here, Good depth off the end of the dock and there is a ladder for you. Off the right side there is a shallow entry and is about 1-2 feet deep there. A Canoe is provided for you. 2 single kayaks were just added to the property!
AREA INFORMATION:
This cottage is located about 20 minutes South of Bancroft, and very close to Silent Lake Provincial Park. Paudash Lake Marina (1-613-339-2600) is located just a 10 minute boat or car ride away! There is also a public launch to this lake located just of Hwy #118.

Bancroft is known as the 'Mineral Capital of Canada', since there are so many different rock and mineral specimens here, an estimated 1600 varieties! There are tours to our local mines, which you can set up through the Town of Bancroft at www.Bancroft.ca Our hospital built in 2002, is about 17 minutes from this cottage. We have 2 major grocery stores - No Frills and Foodland, post office, liquor store and several good Gift and Antique shops. Oh yes, and 2-Tim Hortons', a McDonald's, Subway, Pizza Pizza, as well as lots of great family restaurants! A good butcher at York River Meats has all kinds of fresh fish and meat available. A live theater production is usually on schedule for the summer months, and it is a short walk from the theatre to the local Dairy Queen!
