Great Family Cottage offers fun and relaxation for the whole family! Located just 15 minutes from the town of Bancroft, enjoy both exploring the area, and having fun at the property. Has both a large level yard to play outdoor games, and great waterfront with lots of water toys to enjoy - including a water mat!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Cottage + Bunkie, has a lot to offer with plenty of extra amenities. With Wifi, Satellite, Pool table, and games table you will not get bored at all not matter what the weather. The kitchen, dining room and living room are laid out in an open concept space with warm maple tones, a view of the lake and plenty of natural light. Making meals for the family is easy with plenty of counter space, a gas stove top, double ovens and even a dishwasher for quick cleanup. Or enjoy a meal outdoors, grilling on the BBQ. Entertainment system is located in the living room with a TV, DVD player and satellite for movie night or catching a game on TV. This cottage even has Central air!
All 3 bedrooms (with 1 Queen bed in each), and 2 bathrooms are located on the main floor. The master bedroom has a large ensuite with a jet tub. Washer and dryer are available for you as well. Downstairs the recreational room has a pool table, air hockey, and even a games table for family games night - or a card night. More sleeping options here as there is a Queen bed and one Single bed in this walk-out basement. Above the boathouse is alternate sleeping with a Double futon and a Single day bed.

Walk out from the main floor to the upper deck which wraps around the front of the cottage, and enjoy a spectacular view! Or enjoy sitting right at the water's edge on the lower patio or deck area. Steps lead into the water for a shallower entry, or there is deep swiming off the dock with a ladder for easy access. Kids will love to play on the large foam swim mat anchored here as well. In the evening, gather around the firepit roasting marshmallows, and sharing the day's adventures. Last, but not least after a day of fun - relax in the hot tub! You will make many great lasting family memories at this cottage!

EXTRAS:
There is a patio swing down at the dock. Bocce ball, Ladder toss and badminton available for you. Propane fireplace, stove and furnace to heat the cottage, with central air to help you sleep on those hot summer nights.

WATERFRONT:
Great waterfront for everyone! Steps lead into the water for shallow entry (the water will get deeper quickly), or swim off the dock for deeper swimming. The dock has a ladder for easier access. A swim mat is also anchored here for hours of fun!
A Kayak, and Canoe are provided so you that can get out on the water and explore the lake.

AREA INFORMATION:
Baptiste Lake itself has a marina and 2 public launches along the South side. For boat rentals, call the Baptiste Lake Marina at 1-613-332-1233.

This cottage is located about 15 minutes from the town of Bancroft. The Quinte Health North Hastings Hospital located in Bancroft, has a small emergency department. The town of Bancroft has many unique artisan and gift shops, a number of family and fast food restaurants, an LCBO, as well as 2 grocery stores - No Frills and Foodland. Best bakery items are found at Foodland, Virginia Sweets Bakery, or Mcg's Cakes on Main. Fast food includes McDonalds, 2xTim Hortons, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Pizza Pizza, Dixie Lee Chicken, Pita Pit and Subway. Leo's Chip Truck just north of Bancroft (on the way to cottage) has great food if you want a treat. Take the family to the Kawartha Dairy (Hwy #28) for the best creamery ice cream around!

Bancroft is the 'Mineral Capital of Canada' as we are known internationally as having the largest variety of rocks and minerals than found anywhere else in Canada - you can arrange to go rock collecting or visit some local mineral shops. Talk to the Princess Sodalite Store, or more tourism information can be found at the Bancroft Museum located behind the Post Office in Bancroft.
