Lovely cottage all one level, well treed-in on one side, with southern exposure for full sun. Situated on a fairly level property, with just a few stairs down to the lake. The shoreline is hard-packed sand - lovely for young children to play in, a gradual entry and shallow swimming. There is a dock at the shoreline and a swim raft (with slide and diving board) anchored out further for deeper swimming. *NEW this year is a 6' x18' Swim Mat, for hours of fun!! This cottage comes with a rowboat, 2 Kayaks, a canoe, horseshoes (to use on beach), and plenty of lounge chairs and lawn chairs and a picnic table. There is also a clothesline to hang wet towels and a fire pit so you can enjoy marshmallow toasting or s'mores at the end of the day! A gazebo gives you a nice place to be able to enjoy outdoor dining or just relax with a great View of the lake. You can also view the lake from the deck which has a good set of patio furniture and a propane BBQ.
The cottage itself is very well-equipped for your week, and offers that authentic cozy cottage feeling. Open concept Kitchen/dining/living area allows you to be all in one space, even if preparing the meals. The living room being very relaxing offers a good view of the lake, with a TV, Satellite and a DVD player for family movie night. There is a propane wall furnace if required. The dining room (table seats 4) is a great place for board games. The kitchen has 2 fridges, stove and dishwasher, and all you would need to enjoy cooking at the cottage. There are 3 bedrooms; two bedrooms have Queen beds, and the third has a Double bed and a Double bunk bed. The blankets, sheets and pillows all come with this rental. There is a washer and dryer, as well as a 4 piece bathroom plus an outdoor shower as well. Please note relatives live next door. Please follow all rules and be courteous to your neighbours. You will need to bring drinking water with you, but the cottage water is okay to cook/shower with etc.

Area Information:
This cottage is about 30 minutes from Bancroft and the same from Barry's Bay. They both offer good shopping! However you are only 10 minutes from Maynooth and there is a good variety there for your milk and bread needs. There is also a liquor store and some very nice antique, art, craft etc stores there as well! The dump is about 2-3 km away and easy to find. There is also a good public beach on this lake! This lake is known for its sandy bottom and beaches.
