This massive Viceroy cottage has everything you'll need, for your cottage vacation, including a child friendly shoreline and large yard for outdoor activities. As you enter this beauty into the entrance large hallway, off to your left there is a 3pc washroom with a shower. To your left again a full kitchen awaits you with the dining room on the other side. At the end of the hallway you'll enter the family living room with cathedral ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows making for an awesome view of the lake. Wi-Fi is provided here. Enjoy a movie on a rainy day or in the evening with the TV, DVD and satellite provided. One bedroom is located just off of the living room, with a Double bed in it. The master bedroom is also on the main floor with a Queen bed and a full 4 piece en-suite. The stairs from the living room will take you to the loft, where children can play (there is also a double pull-out couch here). On the lower level you'll find the other two bedrooms; one bedroom has a Queen bed, while the other has two Single beds. They are separated by pocket doors which you can choose to leave open, or close.

Back upstairs, the patio doors in the kitchen lead to the screened in porch so you'll be able to enjoy the fresh air even when it is raining. There is also another dining table here. Walk through the screened porch, to the large deck where there is patio furniture, a propane BBQ, lounge chairs, and even a swinging bench to relax on. The front yard has a gentle slope down to the water and even a nice big sand pile for the children to play in and build castles. As you continue down to the lake you'll notice a fire pit to your right and the amazing child friendly waterfront ahead. You can walk in to good, sandy swimming which drops off near the end of the dock. There is deeper swimming off the swim raft, and kids will also enjoy the slide here! Located on the dock are some lounge chairs (with umbrellas) so you'll be able to watch your children in the cool shade, as they play in the water or slide down the slide on the floating raft! If you like to enjoy the lake, you can make use of the 2 paddle boats and 2 canoes which are supplied for you.

This lake is known for its wonderful bass fishing - they are fun to catch and there are plenty of them here.

Cottage has an air filtration system.

There is a large sand pile on shore for the children to play with! For the swimming - walk-in to good sandy swimming (it will get softer and squishy as you go out, until the deeper swimming). There is deeper swimming near the end of the dock (it is approx. 4 feet deep here). There is also a swim raft here as well!

Just about 5 minutes away is a variety store named Trudy's with a gas bar, LCBO, propane tanks and chip hut, located on Hwy#62. This cottage is located about 30 minutes south of Bancroft which is your next best stop to find all you need - 2 grocery stores (No Frills and Foodland), LCBO, post office and our newer hospital as well as many gift stores, and restaurants.

"A refreshing getaway from the city. The cottage offers the modern comforts of home in the heart of cottage county. Its an excellent place to relax and kick-back on vacation and experience the great outdoors with an great view of the lake from the deck and cottage. Our dog Jack perfected his dives into the lake from the sandy shore and swimming was great too.
