The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a new glass top electric stove with vent hood, built-in microwave, a large LG fridge and Bosch dishwasher. The water system has a UV filter so you don't need to bring your water (unless you prefer). There is a pass-through so guests can sit down for snacks and chefs can join in with dining room friends. The kitchen is very well-equipped for gourmet chefs. The large dining room seats 6 easily and can accommodate 9 to 10.
The spacious living room has a large flat screen TV with Bell satellite. The cell reception is good here. This first floor area is light and airy with many clerestory windows and skylights. The decor is artfully furnished with new decorative carpets and interesting artwork. The beautiful stove fireplace can warm the entire cottage when needed; alternatively the efficient portable AC unit can help with cooling down.
There is a two piece bathroom on the main floor plus a four piece bathroom with a full-sized tub on the upper level. The three upstairs bedrooms have Queen-sized beds while the fourth bedroom on the main level has two single beds. A washer and dryer are situated on the main floor as well.
The walk-in lower level recreation area has a full ping-pong table, a second TV with a cabinet of games, books, puzzles and video games. There is also a double bed futon and pull-out couch in the games area.
The cottage has a 3-sided wrap around deck that showcases the lakefront views. Near the dining room, the side deck has a Napoleon BBQ with a charming patio set. The main deck walkway runs along the front of the cottage and leads to an extra large deck which sports an outdoor patio dining set for 6. There is also a comfortable, outdoor patio sectional with plenty of pillows to relax after a long day enjoying the lake.
The front of the cottage has a lawn where badminton or other games can be enjoyed. One can also relax on the second level deck and watch the lake and swimmers. The dock has a swim ladder and the water is deep enough for diving here and is especially clean without weeds. Off the Point the pink granite gradually slopes down for swimming or exploration or enjoying the incredible sunrises. Since the lot is a large one there is plenty of nature and solitude. There is a canoe, a paddle boat and various water toys to enjoy.
If you are looking for 2 side-by-side cottages, this one is next to Cottage #356 ('The Cove '), but you still have your own privacy, waterfront and dock. The 2 cottages together allow sleeping for up to 16 people overnight. There is good cell service here with Bell or Rogers.
