Situated on the shore of beautiful Lake St. Peter Lake, this cottage has a large level yard, sandy shoreline and nice swimming for young kids. The cottage has wonderful views of the lake which you can take in from the front porch, the bench at the waterfront, the hammock, or even from the livingroom inside the cottage. The galley kitchen is well supplied and if you want to grill up a meal, the BBQ is just outside the door from the dining area. Dining table seats 4-6, or choose to eat outside at the picnic table if it's a nice day!
There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The owners have provided Wi-Fi, and there is a TV and DVD player here for a rainy day or movie night. The dining table is the perfect place for a games night.
The yard here is perfect for lawn games - boccee ball and badminton are available for you. There is plenty of activities for kids to enjoy - including a trampoline, swing, hammock, swimming, canoe, kayak! Young kids will love the beach sand! Get out and explore the lake or take your turn at fishing. This lake is spring fed and has decent fishing. If you like to bike or hike there are some trails at the nearby Lake St. Peter Provincial Park, and the area around this lake has plenty of level ground, so it would be easy to bike if you bring bicycles. Finally, spend your evening around the campfire roasting marshmallows or making s'mores. The memories you make here will last a lifetime...but you will want to come back next year!!
*ELECTRIC VEHICLE OWNERS - For your convenience, there is now a Level 2 EV Charger at the cottage. Guests can charge their electric vehicles during off peak hours from 7pm to 7am or anytime on weekends.
WATERFRONT:
Nice sandy shoreline where you can step right in for swimming. To step in. the bottom is a harder-packed sand and may be a bit softer as you go out, but then will be deeper past the dock. There are some spaghetti weeds to the right of the dock, but not too many to the left side.

AREA INFORMATION: This cottage is located about 25 minutes from Bancroft and about 25 minutes from the eastern gate of Algonquin Provincial Park. There is a variety store just a 5 minutes drive away. The town of Maynooth is just 10 minutes it has a small convenience store with propane tank exchanges. The town of Bancroft will have two larger grocery stores (No Frills and Foodland), and a wide range of shopping, including 3 drug stores, Canadian Tire, and many unique artisan and gift stores. You will find a large variety of family and fast-food restaurants, from Italian to Chinese to fish and chips, Subway, Pizza Pizza, Pizza Hut (takeout), McDonalds along with Starbucks and 2 Tim Hortons'. For local fresh veggies and fruit, make sure you stop at 'Landis Fruit Market' on your way up to the cottage (just north of Bancroft by Canadian Tire and the Petro Canada gas station).
Our office is located in downtown Bancroft, at 73 Hastings Street North. Kids came come in to pick out a free gift!
