Enjoy privacy and a great waterfront at this cozy, but open concept, 2 bedroom cottage. The cottage is located on Elephant Lake; being part of a 3-lake chain (Baptiste, Elephant and Benoir Lake) enjoy some of the area's best boating and fishing. This lake is the shallowest of the 3 lakes, with an average depth of only 6-9 feet, so take advantage of the owners rowboat for fishing, or a paddleboat is here for you as well (Please use at your own risk). A lovely grassy and very gently sloping yard leads to the amazing waterfront. Here the swimming is sandy and shallow, so it is perfect for the little ones! Soak up the sun, on the dock, or sit near the waterfront in one of the lawn chairs here. There is also a firepit to enjoy some quality family time in the evening. There will be some firewood here for you.
The cottage is a fairly new build, and is very clean, and open concept with a full kitchen and a full 4-pc bathroom. There are lots of windows overlooking the lake here. Pine cabinetry and trim give this kitchen a real cottage charm. There is a water cooler, and so you should bring a jug of drinking water with you. Please bring your own linens and towels. The location is a ways off the main road, so we suggest you bring you milk and groceries with you, but you will enjoy the peace and quiet!
The lake offers nice boating and decent fishing - it is a shallow lake, so be careful. You can launch your own boat across the lake, or rent a little fishing boat across the lake. The views from this property are beautiful, and since the cottage has a western exposure, you will see the amazing sunsets! Don't miss out on this one!
Use rowboat and paddleboat at your own risk. The rowboat cannot mount a motor, just for rowing only. This cottage is great for shoulder season rentals as well, as there are trails nearby for ATVing.
